It’s football season and that means Bloody Marys and cheese straws. No one does cheese straws better than Jimmy Dill. His cheese straws are so famous that he started Tailgate Cheese Straws. Jimmy and his wife Paige, decided to start Tailgate later in life and it’s been quite the ride.

Starting in the kitchen at Camp Beckwith, they soon built a commissary in Fairhope, and it was off to the races. You can now find Tailgate Cheese Straws in most local grocery stores including Greer’s Markets and farmers' markets in Alabama. They’re beginning to show up in non-traditional markets and grocery stores in neighboring states as well. Be sure to pick up plenty for all your parties, but especially football parties. They make great corporate gifts and Holiday presents too! The recipe is a closely guarded secret, but I can tell you they are crispy and delicious!

Be sure to order ahead for special orders. Your clients will love you for it! Contact Jimmy at 251 278-9600 or email at Jimmy.dill@tailgatecheesestraws.com. Read their article in The Eat Beat.
