Need I mention anything about the holidays: added stress, or overindulgence? Of course not! So, let’s just put a stop to any guilt-mongering and say we’ve all been there. However, you might be interested to learn that when you are ready, the Power G Health and Wellness program coached by vivacious Ginger McNamara is just a message away.

Ginger was born in Mobile and lives in downtown Fairhope. She has a business administration degree from the University of Mobile and is also a Master Photographer who worked in the film industry, shooting still photography and casting. More importantly, Ginger helps people find health and happiness through nutrition, a healthy mindset, and physical activity.

As a health coach, Ginger knows about “pain points,” moments when you just don’t feel good about yourself. She remembers not feeling comfortable standing by the pool at her friend's Fourth of July party. After being tagged in a Facebook photo that was unsettling to her, she decided to do something about it. It was July 5, 2019, when she began to change her life by changing her habits. “I began working with a coach that helped me create daily habits through nutrition and I dropped over 45 pounds and gained confidence.”

In August 2019, she paid it forward by becoming a health coach herself. Her goal was to help others drop weight, reduce stress and increase sleep, just a few of the benefits experienced from her plan. She says, “Everyone’s pain points are different. It may be stress, medications, weight gain, joint pain, or whatever it is, I will help you create a healthy mindset from day one.”

Ginger says, “Holidays are stressful, and many people are susceptible to the temptation to indulge or emotionally eat to numb the pain of whatever they are going through. I get it, I was there too.” Accountability is key, she says, and it all starts with a health assessment. “I work with teens through  seniors and  create a plan  customized to help embrace healthy habits.” Ginger offers several strategies to address specific issues. “We jump right into the mindset aspect,” she says.

“It takes 21 days to change a habit.” Days 1 - 4, the body will detox from sugar as it fuels the body with proper nutrition. Twelve weeks or 90 days is ideal for reaching individual goals,” said Ginger. Some people reach their goal in 30 days. Once the goal is met, Ginger has meal plans available. “We don’t use supplements,” she says. “From day one, we work on a healthy mindset. We look for emotional triggers. Our goal is to lose weight and gain confidence. Once the client commits, I won’t let them fail but I cannot help without their commitment.”

Ginger works with a physician-created program that is ranked as one of the Top-100 fastest-growing companies by Fortune Magazine and is the only health & wellness company on the list. She works under a doctor’s guidance and has a community of health coaches and nutritionists to advise. She attends quarterly sold-out conferences and retreats to continue learning how to help her clients succeed. As a coach, Ginger strives to bring out the greatness in people. “Life happens for us, not against us.”

She has a friend who lost sixty pounds and became a coach on her team. Since then, Ginger has coached several clients who have been successful and now work with her to help others. “I love partnerships with others to help change the world as a “hope dealer.”  There’s room at the table for more partners.”

When you’re ready to see how a healthy lifestyle can change your outlook on life, give Ginger a call. It may not be as hard as you think.
