With Fairhope’s heralded Arts & Crafts Festival celebrating its 74th year, expect to be impressed and entertained March 20 - 22. This year’s theme is “Classic Fairhope in Black and White.” Every day from 10 am until 5 pm, the downtown streets will be filled with hundreds of artists and artisans from all over the country displaying and selling their creations. Special event parking and shuttles will help carry the more than 200,000 expected visitors to and from the Festival site.

Once you’ve taken in the Festival’s offerings, including juried art shows, street vendors, and food courts, you have two special Pop-Up artists' events taking place just down Scenic 98 in Point Clear. First, at Chapel Farms Collection, local painter, potter, and all-around creative talent, America Tickle, is unveiling her newest creation, the Point Clear Collection. It is a stunning new design element that perfectly captures America's artistic eye for everything Point Clear. Her sense of style and place along the Eastern Shore of Mobile Bay is elegantly found in the Point Clear Collection. You can also follow America at her Instagram@pointclearcollection, or at her Facebook page at Point Clear Collection.

The Point Clear Collection brings together a curated selection of goods for entertaining and everyday living along the bay and beyond. From crystal barware that sets the scene on the polo field to YETI essentials made for the boat and wharf, each piece reflects the easy elegance of life in Point Clear. The Point Clear Collection apparel moves effortlessly from the golf course to the fishing tournament and back to dinner at the club—featuring classic comfort tees, performance fishing shirts, and refined polos from brands like Tasc and Peter Millar.

The Arts & Crafts Festival Pop-Up at Chapel Farm will be one of three pop-up tent shows she is hosting, where you can purchase items from her collection. Plans are still in the works for a permanent storefront in the Point Clear area down the road. These thoughtfully chosen goods for entertaining and enjoying the Point Clear lifestyle—whether you're in the fields or on the bay—reflect the essence of Bay life as only America can depict.

While there, be sure to peruse the Chapel Farm Collection, a gift shop known for its curated selection of unique gifts of jewelry, art, and home goods, including items from local artisans. Chapel Farm offers both in-store and online shopping, with a focus on “goods for giving and gracious living,” featuring categories like home decor, accessories, baby items, and seasonal collections. The shop is a popular spot for finding Southern-inspired and artisanal products, with a history dating back to 2013.

Just a bit further down the road, past the Grand Hotel on Scenic 98 Highway, you will find another artist-inspired pop-up store celebrating Fairhope’s Arts & Crafts Festival at The Garage Studio. Local painter (and wife) Linda Hargett will be hosted by Amanda Bacon at her eclectic shop, also in Point Clear.

Linda Hargett Art will feature her latest work, “Where the Pines Meet the Palms,” a collection of whimsical dreamscapes. These abstracts are loose acrylic flora and fauna in beautiful colors that lend a sense of delight reflective of the waterfront, bogs, and wooded fields along Scenic 98 Coastal. Come visit Linda from noon until 5 pm on Friday, March 20, and Saturday, March 21 at The Garage Studio. You can see more of her work on her Instagram page at LindaHargettArt.

The Garage Studio in Point Clear is a distinctive boutique filled with curated gifts, original art, and stylish clothing—each piece thoughtfully selected to inspire a beautiful, artful life. It’s part magic, part mayhem, but always full of style… just like Amanda herself. If you haven’t shopped at The Garage Studio yet, you’re in for a treat!
